About me

The self proclaimed name Precasso was derived from the visual artist Pablo Picasso. Like the influential Picasso; His style of art is always meta morphing. Although the name "Precasso" is yet known; it won't be long before he is received by the music industry and an ever growing fan base. Precasso was raised in Ruston, Louisiana and has a passion for performing. His mother, Joyce Jackson; was musically inclined in the church and influenced him greatly by passing on a rich musical environment. Precasso's memory skills were trained and translated into music. This up and coming artist has been rapping, singing and dancing in talent shows since 1993. At age 18, he had written and released his first album to the public under Tippie-Toe Records. After working in studios His love for music continues to elevate . Moving to Northern California in 1995 with a backpack full of Cd's. Precasso's direction and lifestyle then changed from country to city. Little did he know the opportunities that lay ahead. He met with Thumper and hooked up with the other members of their group "Koronerz Click". Until 2000 they collectively recorded music. All individuals have spread their wings and they remain to unite efforts. Precasso later signed a new label in 2003. Collaborating with B-Legit and D Shot. Shortly there after he drifted away from his "first love". Coming back at the end of 2008; Precasso is now under his own indie label Be About It Ent. His creativity and drive leads him to conspire with many other talents. Recently; Stooie Bro's & Kobra. Precasso invests quality time perfecting his new material that he writes and records himself. He considers his element of style a "Visa Rap/ Passport Flow"; meaning universal lyrics. His personal quote; "Be About It, We aint shit" reminds him of the struggles he's overcome and motivates him to be all he can to reach the top of charts. He stays grounded with his southern humility and Bay Area moxie.
