Why can't the two exist in some format here in dallas. Where we are blends all of these sounds together that has made me a fan. I like dorrough, i grew up listening to kotton mouth, mr.pookie, pimpsta. But I also love my playdoughs, Kilo, and year of the ox type groups. It seems as if this divide is greater than ever, from both sides to blame.

I see how it can look like the divide is greater than ever, but I also see the other side... underground hip hop getting exposure in the mainstream more and more.

The Art of Rap doc we saw the other day kinda shows this - though the people interviewed were the bigger names in hip hop, for the most part they aren't the rappers selling out stadiums and getting radio play.

I think over the next two years we are going to see a huge resurgence in "underground" hip hop.
