SXSW 2009 SHOWCASING ARTIST - Back Alley Social - Thursday, March 19 - 1:10 a.m. Tanya Morgan started as an obscure, poorly-titled trio from Brooklyn and Cincinnati and have since released one of the most critically-praised hip hop records in the last 5 years. Their debut MOONLIGHTING was championed by the likes of The Source Magazine, XXL, Bobbito Garcia, ?uestlove of The Roots, Wax Poetics and more. They spent much of 2008 on the road with the Legendary Hieroglyphics promoting their sophomore effort THE BRIDGE EP and are gearing up to release their third record BROOKLYNATI in April of 2009.
